Your Inbox

The notification center for mentions, assignments, briefings, and pipeline signals.

Inbox is your post-login landing page. It groups everything worth your attention across the workspace: mentions, assignments, today's briefings, pipeline signals, contact updates, and product updates.

Inbox is a notification center, not a working action list. Use Inbox to catch up on what happened across the workspace; use Tasks to track the work you still need to do.

PLACEHOLDER: replace with inbox-page-overview.light.png. Shows the Inbox master-detail layout: the two tabs (Unread and All) at the top, the notification list on the left grouped by category, and a selected notification's detail on the right with Mark read, Archive, and Snooze actions.

Unread and All

Two tabs at the top of the Inbox:

  • Unread: notifications you have not opened yet. Default view.
  • All: everything, including read and archived. Use this to find something from last week.

The sidebar row Inbox shows a badge with the unread count.

The eight categories

Inbox groups notifications into eight buckets so the noise stays manageable:

CategoryWhat lands here
Mentions@-mentions from teammates in comments and notes.
AssignmentsDeals, tasks, and prospects assigned to you.
TodayTime-sensitive nudges due today.
PipelineDeal-stage transitions, close-date changes, stalled deals.
ContactsContact updates, lifecycle changes, out-of-office.
BriefingsBlake-generated briefings for upcoming meetings.
InsightsAsk Blake summaries and other Blake-generated observations.
UpdatesProduct updates and What's new items.

Briefings are Ask Blake in context

A briefing is not a separate feature. Blake can analyse your CRM, conversations, emails, and activities to generate a briefing for a company, contact, deal, or meeting, together with suggested next actions. When you open a Briefing notification, Blake launches Ask Blake with that briefing already loaded as the first message, so you can drill deeper immediately:

  • "Give me the top three questions to ask this prospect."
  • "Draft an opener referencing the last email thread."
  • "Which decision-makers are on the buying committee?"

The same pattern applies to insights.

Per-notification actions

Every row carries the same action set. Click a row to open its detail on the right, then use the header bar:

  • Mark read or Mark unread.
  • Archive or Unarchive.
  • Snooze: pick a duration; the row disappears until then.
  • Remind me later: Blake nudges you again at a chosen time.
  • Delete forever: hard-remove. Not recoverable.

Every action shows an undo toast so a slip is one click to reverse.

Bulk actions and swipe on mobile

  • On desktop, select rows with the checkboxes and use the bulk-action bar at the bottom.
  • On mobile, swipe left on a row to archive or delete.

Mark-read on focus dwell

When you focus a notification for more than a couple of seconds, Blake marks it read automatically. Turn this off in Settings > Notifications if you prefer to mark manually.

Configure what shows up

Open Settings > Notifications for the matrix of six event types (leads, deals, discovery, ai, system, whatsnew) across three channels (Push, In-app, Email). Turn any cell off to stop that combination. See Your preferences for the personal side of notification setup.

You can also mute a whole Inbox category (leads, deals, etc.) from Settings > Notifications > Inbox visibility. Muting hides the category from the feed without changing what Blake still notifies you about elsewhere.

If a notification does not appear

  • The Inbox badge is empty but you expected activity: check the All tab first. You may have already read the item.
  • Nothing shows up on Today: the Today bucket is time-sensitive and empties as items are handled. Widen to All to see historical items.
  • A briefing did not open Ask Blake: refresh the panel. If it still fails, try clicking the briefing again from All.
